New hires in social gaming: East Side Games, Happy Elements and Kixeye

Hiring in the social gaming industry was steady from last week’s peak, with nine companies reporting 14 recent hires. According to data from LinkedIn and other sources, East Side Games saw the most activity with four hires. The highest profile hires of the week belonged to Strutta which brought on Joeline Hackman as director of marketing.

Hiring in the social gaming industry was down from last week’s peak, with nine companies reporting 13 recent hires. According to data from LinkedIn and other sources, Zynga reported the most activity with three hires. The highest profile hires of the week belonged to FiveOneNine Games, which brought on Ryan Stradling as VP technology and FunSockets, which picked up Disney Playdom alumn Dave Rohrl as VP of Game Production.
