In an effort to avoid the stigma associated with pay-to-win freemium games, independent developer Wyrmbyte has announced the removal of all microtransactions from its free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game Dragons & Titans. Available on Steam and Facebook, the game now offers all former in-app purchase content in a single bundle called the Titan Pass, but a base version of the game remains free for all users.
SongPop developer FreshPlanet has released its newest game on Facebook: TravelPop. The geography and culture quiz game asks players to view images of geographical landmarks, iconic dishes and more from around the world, and quickly answer “yes or no” or “this or that” questions about them. Players can challenge friends or random opponents to one-on-one matches, first choosing a country, and then picking a topic within that country.
Qublix Games has released its newest puzzle title on Facebook: Fruit Farm Frenzy. In each level of the game, players help a raccoon drop fruit onto the screen to make matches of three or more fruits that touch in some way. That is, gamers can form horizontal and vertical lines of fruit, but diagonal and L shape matches also qualify. When matched, these fruits are removed from the screen. Players will need to drop enough fruit in each stage to finish specific goals, without letting rogue fruits reach the top of the screen and end the game.

The game asks players to make matches with animal tiles, helping a talking fish on his journey to find a new friend. Developed by TianTuo Company, the free-to-play MMORPG will take players to a world of Greek mythology, where they’ll balance the use of their own character’s skills with those of secondary heroes, while also completing a journey to defeat evil.
