Create Words to Earn Points in Word Wizards on Facebook
If you’re looking for a new word-building game on Facebook, then you’ll likely be interested in Qublix’s Word Wizards. The word game asks players to clear levels by clicking and dragging their mouse over letter tiles to form words, earning points and removing those tiles from the board in the process.
Each level has a different board layout, set of goals and move limit. For instance, one level may require the removal of 24 tiles in under 10 moves, while another may require users to clear poison tiles from the board. These tiles are marked with green slime, but they’re cleared from the board in the same way as normal letters.
Words must be at least three letters long, with longer words being worth more points. Longer words also trigger the appearance of power-ups on the board. When these power letters are used in future words, they may explode and clear small groups of letters from the board, or whole rows and columns, depending on the power.
At the end of each stage, players earn up to three stars depending on their performance, and can compare their high scores to those of their Facebook friends via level-specific leaderboards.
Eventually, players unlock a separate set of power-ups for purchase. These are available to purchase before or during levels, and may give users extra moves to complete stages, the ability to add extra vowel tiles to the board, and so on. When their free currency runs out, users can spend real money to purchase these powers for their game.
Word Wizards is available to play for free on Facebook.
