Game Insight announces Mysterium for Facebook, mobile
Game Insight has announced the latest title in its growing series of hidden object games: Mysterium. From the creator of Mystery Manor, Mysterium places players in a detective story, as they explore the mysterious Collector’s house, filled with mechanical contraptions. In addition, as players explore environments, they’ll travel the globe, from Paris to New York, and will encounter strange artifacts called Mysteriums.
In Mysterium, players will complete multiple varieties of hidden object scenes, in addition to mini-games and logic puzzles. The game will take players to an underwater world, an otherworldly auction and more offbeat locations as the game unfolds.
Depending on the location or hidden object scene, players may encounter interactive areas, like secret passageways and locked compartments. The game is described as being set in a “colorful” and “lively” world, but players will need to wait just a bit longer to dive into it themselves.
“We originally created Mysterium as a response to feedback and the huge demand of the fan base of our hidden object classic, Mystery Manor, which was a #1 top grossing app in the iOS store and has more than 34 million users worldwide to date,” said Sarah Teng, Director of Marketing & PR at Game Insight North America. “This new game combines deep storytelling with challenging hidden object gameplay and exciting international travel to create an enthralling cross-platform adventure.”
