Explore the lost city in Atlantis Adventure on Facebook
While there are enough puzzle games on Facebook to give gamers years of enjoyment, players looking for just one more have Social Quantum’s Atlantis Adventure as another option.
The game first released on Facebook in October, but only recently hit its stride, climbing from 131,000 monthly active players at the beginning of December to 882,000 MAU today, according to our app tracking service AppData.
Gameplay in Atlantis Adventure resembles that of many other match-three games on Facebook. Players swap the locations of gems to remove them from the screen, with matches of four-or-more like gems resulting in bonus symbols. These bonus gems can clear whole rows or columns from the screen, or simply detonate to clear a small cluster of gems from the board.
Additional boosters can be purchased with real money. These powers give players the chance to create an explosion anywhere on the board, swap crystals even if they don’t make a match, and so on.
Players earn up to three stars on each stage, depending on the number of points earned before moves run out. Each level has a different shape and final goal, aside from simply earning points. One stage may require players to clear tiles by making matches on top of them, for instance, while another may ask players to move runes to the bottom of the screen for collection, just as candy is collected in King’s Candy Crush Saga.
Atlantis Adventure is now available to play for free on Facebook. You can follow its continued progress on AppData, our tracking service for mobile and social apps and developers.
