Bake Shop Drop cooks up winning numbers amont this week’s emerging Facebook games

Broken Bulb Studios’ new game Bake Shop Drop took the top spot among this week’s emerging Facebook games, up 40,000 monthly active users for a 400 percent gain.

Digital Chocolate’s Kings & Warlords came in at No. 2 with a 20,000 MAU gain for a 67 percent increase. Backgammon was up by 20,000 MAU, a 33 percent gain that let it snag the No. 3 spot. Digitoy Games’ Turkish-language Rakkip took the No. 4 spot with 20,000 MAU, also for a 33 percent gain. Disney City Girl wraps up the top five games with 20,000 MAU for a 29 percent increase.

Nine games on this week’s list had traffic gains of 10,000 MAU for a 100 percent increase (including a clone of PopCap’s hit Plants vs. Zombies). However, one title had a gain percentage larger than that: Unusual Studios’ Spanish-language soccer sim Mahou Liga Chapas (“Mahou League Plates”) took in 12,000 MAU for a 150 percent increase.
