Candy Crush Saga returns to the top of the fastest-growing Facebook games by DAU

King.com’s Candy Crush Saga is sitting pretty at the top of this week’s list of fastest-growing Facebook games by daily active users, having taken in a whopping 1.6 million DAU for a 25 percent gain. All of the games on this week’s list saw some impressive audience growth, likely due to regular players coming back to the the titles after last week’s Holiday lull.

Wooga’s Diamond Dash is back on the list at No. 2 with 800,000 DAU, a 24 percent increase. King.com’s newest “Saga” title, Pet Rescue Saga, came in at No. 3 with a 29 percent gain due to its 600,000 DAU intake. Zynga’s Words With Friends also took in 600,000 DAU, a 10 percent growth allowing it to snag the No. 4 spot. Bubble Safari came in at No. 5, up by 500,000 DAU for a 25 percent gain.

Three other games on the list saw traffic percentage gains greater than 30 percent. King.com’s Pyramid Solitaire Saga was up by 400,000 for a 36 percent gain. Peak Games’ Lost Jewels took in 180,000 DAU for a 38 percent increase. Finally, King.com’s Hoop De Loop Saga snagged 160,000 DAU, a 35 percent gain.
