Diamond Dash takes over this week’s list of fastest-growing Facebook games by DAU

Wooga’s Diamond Dash proved to be the fastest-growing Facebook game by daily active users this week, bringing in 300,000 DAU for a 9 percent gain.

Social Point’s Dragon City also took in 300,000 DAU, but it came in at No. 2 with a 7 percent gain. Miniclip’s 8 Ball Pool had a 25 percent gain of 220,000 DAU that let it snag the No. 3 spot. Megapolis continues this week’s surge and is up by 200,000 DAU for a 167 percent increase, claiming the No. 4 position. Zynga’s Texas HoldEm Poker fills out the top five games on the list with 200,000 DAU for a 3 percent gain.

Four games on this week’s list saw traffic increases of 100 percent or more. Pretty Simple’s Criminal Case snagged 70,000 DAU for a 233 percent gain. Jellyvision’s You Don’t Know Jack also saw a 70,000 DAU increase of 233 percent, likely due to the game winning a Spike TV VGA and it also coming out on iOS. Soccer Manager Ltd.’s Soccer Manager was up by 40,000 DAU for a 100 percent gain. Finally, Zynga’s CoasterVille brought in 40,000 DAU, up 200 percent.
