CityVille 2′s continuing to dominate fastest-growing Facebook games by MAU

Zynga’s CityVille 2 is continuing its winning run atop our list of fastest-growing Facebook games by monthly active users. The game took the No. 1 spot this week with 9.6 million MAU, a 72 percent gain.

King.com’s Pet Rescue Saga came in at No. 2, up 2.3 million MAU for a 64 percent increase. Social Point’s Dragon City snagged the No. 3 position with 600,000 MAU, a 4 percent gain. Ruby Blast Adventures is continuing its recent resurgence, taking the No. 4 spot with 300,000 MAU for a 2 percent boost. Plarium’s Stormfall: Age of War is the final of the top five games on this week’s list, up by 300,000 MAU for a 38 percent gain.

Since it’s the final week of the month, the traffic gain percentages this week were generally on the low end of the spectrum; only four games showed increases greater than 10 percent. Disney Playdom’s Full Bloom has seen a recent traffic resurgence, up by 240,000 MAU for a 69 percent gain. EA PopCap’s Solitaire Blitz was up by 14 percent with 200,000 MAU. Zotata’s DragonBound was took in 150,000 MAU, a 16 percent increase. Finally, Best Arcade Games (a cloned collection of classic video games) brought in 100,000 MAU for a 250 percent gain.
