SGN names Josh Yguado president

Social mobile developer SGN (formerly MindJolt) today announced Josh Yguado has been promoted to the position of president.

Yguado is one of SGN’s co-founders, coming over from Fox as the company’s Vice President of Business Development. During his time at Fox, he was involved with the acquisition of Myspace and Hulu’s launch. Previously, he headed up SGN’s game development efforts. So far, he’s been  responsible for SGN’s titles like Panda Jam, Jewels of the Amazon and Bingo Blingo.

We met with Yguado at Casual Connect in July, where he told us about how SGN is focusing on creating cross-platform games that can provide play experiences wherever a user happens to be. In his new role, Yguado will oversee game studios and take on marketing duties, as well continue to report to SGN Founder and CEO Chris DeWolfe.
