New hires in social games: Akamon, Nordeus and more
Due to recent changes in the way Linkedin displays hiring information we have have changed the format of our weekly new hires posts. Starting this week, companies who want their new hires included in the post must contact us directly at mail (at) insidemobieapps (dot) com.
Hiring in the mobile apps sector was up this week with 22 new hires overall between 4 companies. Nordeus reported the most activity with 18 new hires, though these include all the hires the company made since April 2012. The highest profile promotion of the week are Darrell Rodriguez who now serves as IGT’s Chief Creative Officer and Monica Acero who is now Akamon’s Country Manager LatAm.

- Darrell Rodriguez, Chief Creative Officer — Rodriguez has served as IGT’s senior vice president Global Game Studios since October 2010.

- Ratko Božović, User Acquisition Manager – Božović was online marketing for Labeley and Vectorian Inc.
- Jelena Matejić, Finance assistant – Matejić previously worked as finance assistant in Nelt Co.
- Miodrag Kovačević, PR assistant – Kovačević was a freelance game reviewer
