It looks like Zynga finally turned up its cross-promotion dial to 11, since FarmVille 2 took the top spot on this week’s list of fastest-growing games by monthly active user with 15 million MAU for a 500 percent gain.

Zynga’s Texas HoldEm Poker took the No. 2 spot with 1.4 million MAU, a 4 percent gain. Meanwhile, Kixeye’s War Commander came in at No. 3 with 600,000 MAU for a 12 percent increase (due to increased promotion in Facebook’s App Center). 6waves’ Bubble Epic snagged 500,000 MAU for a 23 percent gain that let it take the No. 4 spot. CityVille finished out the top five games on the list, also bringing in 500,000 MAU but for a 3 percent traffic increase.

Four other games on this week’s list saw traffic gains greater than 40 percent. First up was RockYou’s Hug Me, which was up 76 percent with 290,000 MAU. IsCool Entertainment’s Wordox grew by 62 percent with 240,000 MAU. Nekki’s free-running adventure game Vector jumped up by 170,000 MAU for a 50 percent gain. Finally, Playdom’s Disney’s Ghosts of Mistwood took in 100,000 MAU for a 6 perent increase.
