Social game developer Nekki has officially launched its social free-running game Vector on Facebook, bringing the title out of beta.

Vector is the spiritual successor to Nekki’s previous Facebook hit, Shadow Fight. Both games feature silhouette-based artwork but where Shadow Fight was a combat game, Vector is an action-platformer based around the parkour free-running movement. Players control a nameless hero who escapes the shackles of an evil organization and finds himself pursued across a variety of urban environments. The game monetizes through the purchase of new moves, some of which are crucial to completing a level with the highest rating.

Nekki Founder and CEO Dmitry Terekhin took some time in April to answer some of our questions about the game, as well as revealing upcoming plans to bring it to mobile devices like iPad. During its beta period, our AppData traffic-tracking service shows the game had a population of 40,000 daily active users but has started to shoot up over the past few days and currently has 80,000 DAU.
