Social games developer Funtactix today announced that the official Facebook game for the Hunger Games franchise is now available for iPad.

We reviewed the game when it made its debut in March alongside the release of the film and found it fun, especially for fans of the source material, but that it was marred by many technical issues.

The press release touted that the game recently presented players with the first-ever map of Panem, depicting the actual locations of Districts 2, 11 and 12 as well as the Capitol of the post-apocalyptic world. This is a noteworthy feature because it reveals a central piece of the franchise’s canon exclusively through a social game.
