Outernauts warps to the top of this week’s list of emerging Facebook games
EA and Insomniac Games’s new social title Outernauts took the No. 1 spot on this week’s list of emerging Facebook games with 45,713 monthly active users for a 103 percent gain.
Arvara’s wine-making RPG Chateau came in at No. 2 with 23,501 MAU, a 142 percent gain. Jane Austen’s Rogues & Romance, the collaborative project by 6waves and the BBC, brought in 20,622 MAU, a 53 percent gain that allowed it to take the No. 3 spot. Nuukster’s Birdopolis once more appears on our list, this time at the No. 4 position with 20,000 MAU for a 33 percent increase. Finally, 6waves’s Cat Rescue was up 67 percent with 19,984 MAU and took the No. 5 spot.
Three other games on the list saw traffic increases greater than 30 percent. Nexon’s The Grinns Tale (which is published by 6waves) was up 15,384 MAU for a 34 percent gain. Yahoo’s Premier League Fantasy Football saw a 42 percent increase with its 14,719 MAU. Lastly, GamePoint’s WordTornado was up 14,579 MAU for a 41 percent surge.
