People are moving into The Ville based on this week’s fastest growing Facebook game by DAU
Zynga’s The Ville shot to the top of this week’s list from No. 14 to No. 1 by a 2,733 percent gain. The Ville has 6.8 million DAU playing house, which was a major jump from last week’s 240,000 DAU.
Social Point’s Dragon City also had an impressive week by reaching the No. 2 spot with a 46 percent gain, making its total DAU 1.9 million. Zynga’s other new release, Ruby Blast came in at No. 3 with a 179 percent gain of 390,000 DAU. FreshPlanet’s SongPop bumps down to No. 4 with only a 8 percent gain of 200,000 DAU. Texas HoldEm Poker continues to be a strong presence on the list, coming in at No. 5 with a 3 percent gain of 200,000 DAU.
Three other games had gains over 50 percent. Soft Reklam’s Super Texas Holdem Poker hit 40,000 DAU with a 471 percent increase. Crash was up 31,748 DAU for a 253 percent increase, but it currently looks like the game’s been taken offline; the description sounds like it was a clone of a Crash Bandicoot title for the Sony PlayStation. Playdom’s Armies of Magic hit 110,000 DAU for a 57 percent gain.
