Zynga’s The Ville is finally taking off, grabbing the top spot on this week’s list of fastest-growing Facebook games by monthly active user with 15,510,000 MAU, a 2,629 percent gain.

EA’s SimCity Social is continuing to prove the “Sim” franchise’s popularity, bringing in 2,300,000 MAU for a 48 percent increase and grabbing the No. 2 spot. FreshPlanet’s SongPop came in at No. 3 with its 1.5 million MAU gain, up 17 percent. Social Point’s Dragon City took No. 4 with 1.4 million MAU, a 32 percent surge. Finally, Zynga’s Texas HoldEm Poker grabbed 700,000 MAU, a 2 percent gain that let it snag the No. 5 position.

Three other games on this week’s list showed gains greater than 50 percent. Disney Playdom’s Disney’s Ghosts of Mistwood brought in 420,000 MAU for a 62 percent increase, Zynga’s Ruby Blast was up 280,000 MAU for a 51 percent gain and Javelin’s TDP4 Team Battle snagged 180,000 MAU for a 69 percent growth.
