Social game news roundup: Spider-Man webs up Avengers Alliance, Gameloft working on My Little Pony and Pam Anderson wants to play poker with you

Avengers Alliance gets Amazing Spider-Man items — With The Amazing Spider-Man hitting theaters next week, Marvel: Avengers Alliance is getting some tie-in items, including the Spider-Sense Injector, the Web Grenade and Way of the Spider (a boost that increases defense and a character’s next attack).

Gameloft working on My Little Pony — Mobile and social publisher Gameloft announced it’s signed a licensing deal with Hasbro. The deal will see Gameloft develop and market both My little Pony and Littlest Pet Shop titles across iOS and Android devices.

Pamela Anderson gets in on the social gambling game [Launch]— “Superstar actress” Pamela Anderson launched BamPoker this week, a new version of Texas Hold’em poker on the social network. Players can play against Anderson herself in the game.

Rebel Entertainment comes out of stealth with Dungeon Rampage [Launch] — Developer Rebel Entertainment  has come out of stealth and officially revealed its first game, the multiplayer action RPG Dungeon Rampage, which already has over two million players in its beta. Land of Zombies brought to life on iOS — D2C’s first social game, Land of Zombies, just launched on the Apple App Store. Players run a zombie amusement park in the game and share it with their friends.

iTunes expands further into Asia — Apple’s iTunes Store launched in 12 new countries this week, including Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
Zuma Blitz donating to Autism Speaks — EA’s Zuma Blitz is getting involved with a very good cause: From now until July 1, proceeds from Idol sales in the game will go towards Autism Speaks. Idols are also discounted by 25 percent at this time.
