Galaxy Online II warps atop this week’s emerging games list
Galaxy Online II’s foreign language versions continue to appear on our list of emerging games, with the Portugese version of the game taking the No. 1 spot courtesy of a 350 percent gain.
The Chinese version of the game also took the No. 7 spot this week with a 40 percent gain. This wasn’t the only Chinese language game to appear on the list this week, either: Titan War and Happy Farm – Heroic Expedition took the No. 8 and No. 9 spots, respectively down from the No. 7 and No. 1 spots last week.
Only two other games on the list sported gains of 100 percent or more. Tetris Stars debuted at the No. 4 spot on the list, thanks to a 100 percent gain. Traffic has been hovering just under 10,000 MAU since the sneak preview version of Tetris Stars launched in December 2011, but since the game’s March 20 official beta launch, the game is up to 40,000 MAU for the week. Truco Paulista — which is based on the card game popular in Brazil — had a 150 percent game and appeared in the No. 10 spot. Since Truco Paulista debuted in May 2010 its numbers have never cracked 10,000 MAU, but the game’s taken off over the past week.
