New Hires in Social Gaming: Digital Chocolate, PushButton Labs, PopCap, & More
Following a sizable growth spurt among top social gaming companies last week, this week has been much slower — the second time in a month this has occurred. Of all the major social developers, according to data pulled from LinkedIn, only a handful showed any new activity. Even the mass of internal title-changing activity stemming from Google’s acquisition of Slide appears over.

Here’s this week’s list:
- Vojin Radosavljevic – The sole listed hire for Digital Chocolate this week, Radosavljevic joins the team as there newest Server Programmer. Previously, he was employed as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Nordeus.
- Adam Gutterman – Formerly a Product Marketing Manager for Three Rings Design, Gutterman joins Playfish as their newest Product Manager.
- Patrick Nunn – Joining PopCap as a new Recruiter & HR Generalist, Nunn brings prior experience as a Recruiting Coordinator at R.W. Beck.
- Sameer Baroova – Formerly an Engineering Manager for Mobile Platforms, it looks like Baroova is moving up at PopCap, with the new title of Development Director.
- Heather Hazen – Another job changes at PopCap comes from the former Sr. Producer Hazen. Now, she is moving on to become the Sr. Product Manager for Bejeweled Blitz.
- Paul deGrandis – Thanks to the folks over at Pushbutton Labs for sending this information over, as they hire deGrandis as their newest Web Engineer. Prior to this, he was Founder and CEO of OurShelf as well as a former Software Engineer for Etsy and Junior Software Engineer for Silver Cloud Software.
- John Yoo – Zynga gets a new Senior Game Designer this week. Previously, Yoo was a Lead Designer for Sparkplay Media.
- Will Madia – Madia joins Zynga as their newest QA Engineer, Payments. Before this, he was a QA Engineer for Twistage.
