I noticed this blog uses Wordpress and has a Facebook connect plugin/feature. Is this something you developed yourselves or can be installed by someone like me as well?

Thanks!

Great thinking Andrew. As someone operating multiple games on Facebook currently that was 10+ years ago making cd-rom games, I know of the truths behind your words intimately.

As a user experience rep for a social gaming company, I totally agree that the customer's relationship to the developers is changing. Our games are constantly evolving to meet the desires of our players, and if we were ever to leave a game "as it is" with no updates, our relationship with the customer is destroyed.

I completely agree. If you'd like to learn more about how to develop games as services, come to my talk "Game Development 2.0: Moving From a Boxed Product to a Service-Based Model" at the Game Developer's Conference on March 25.
